How do I approach thee, with a blade of mighty steel or with a brush and pen too help me find the true beauty of what is hidden within.

The task is to brainstorm so weather permitted here I go,

  1. Why was the sculpture created, what does it represent and what exactly was it that motivated the artist.
  2. What materials were used and why did the artist chose those materials. do they reflect on the piece its self.
  3. How does it stand in context of the artists other work, this is not the artists normal/typical style, but also as a contemporary sculpture.

There was a great deal more detail in my initial brainstorm but so not to bore everyone, plus it most likely won't make sense to anyone but me. I have neatened it, if you like, to the three possible direction I might take.

  1. I struggled alot with brainstorming, maybe it was due to the fact I choose an artpiece that was hard to explore. But after reading yours its given me some insite. Thanks!

  3. I am interested in the subject you've chosen myself. I was going to choose it as well. It was my second option. I think that the history behind it is terrible. I need to stop myself at that point not to say too much about what I think about Epstein after hearing this story.
Needless to say that from your options to approach it I would definitely choose the first one. Just because it would be the easiest way to focus on the story itself.
