My chosen piece is the beautiful and moving sculpture created by Bob and Roberta Smith in honour of Theodore Garman, Theodore the sculpture of his son that Jacob Epstein never made",Epstein's eldest son and inspiring artist in his own right, who's life and artistic career where cut short at the age of 29. I do not want to go on to much initially about this pieces as i have a great deal of emotions, views and opinions to share. I was automatically drawn to Theodore's sculpture the moment i sore it in all its simplistic honest and agonising glory, stood centre stage surrounded by cold bronze faces.
