Painting inspired by Howl, by Allen Ginsberg.

I read and listen to Howl read by Allen Ginsberg a couple of times a month as it is my calmer, that clears away the cob webs and knocks down any impending brick walls. So I had the idea of creating a piece inspired by the poem. Last night I was listening to it and ended up creating a page spread doodle, wasn't actually fully aware I was doing it. When I looked at it and even tho its a bit naff as doodles go I thought it would make an interesting paint. I decided to go with my instinct as I have been trying to do more painting recently as I'm not that adapt at it. I decided to use oil paint as it is my proffered choice of paint.

If you do not know the poem (shame on you, only joking) but I do encourage all to read it. you can find it at http://www.wussu.com/poems/agh.htm  if you would prefer to listen to it I have an original recording of Allen Ginsberg reading it and I am happy to make you a copy, or you can watch it on youtube at www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVGoY9gom50

Sorry for the bad quality photos took them on my phone, last minute thought when leaving studio at 6pm and it had been a long day. But will get some better ones taken with camera.
